Yesterday we posted a couple of pictures of shirts regarding the Toilet Paper crisis of 2020. Sometimes we have to make ourselves laugh in order to keep ourselves sane. To create a more serious, yet hopefully encouraging tone, we’d like to do something to help our community. We love being part of the community of Greenville, and look forward to seeing all of us come out stronger on the other side of this national crisis.
We have created a tee shirt that we believe shows the strength of our city, and we want to use it to help give back to our community. We will donate $5 from the sale of each tee shirt to Miracle Hill Ministries here in town. We have worked with Miracle Hill in the past and they are a tremendous organization. As a small business, we are struggling with the rest of the community. We have found, however, that if we only focus on ourselves, nothing changes. It is true that sales of this tee shirt will help keep our team employed during this time, which is important to these families. Understand that this is not an attempt to take advantage of the current situation. Our largest customers are local schools and printing for events. With both of those completely shut down, we are operating at 10-20% of our normal revenues. We are doing everything we can to stay open for our team members and their families. But it's not all about us. We also believe that, by donating a portion of the proceeds of each tee shirt, we can help others in need.
