We will give them out for free to any guest who needs one. This gesture by the Governor and the Supervisors will greatly help with the containment of the COVID-19 pandemic. Today we are celebrating BIG because it is Apollo’s 10th birthday! Here you see Apollo hanging out with one of his trainers Alexis. Fun fact: the area between a dolphins dorsal fin and tail flukes is called the peduncle. A dolphin’s peduncle is the strongest part of their body. It is strong enough that they can reach speeds of about 25 mph and support 80% of their body out of the water with just their tail, as you can see Apollo showing off here. We hope you all can come out and see us today to help us celebrate Apollo’s birthday!

The IMMS Research Department is currently accepting applications for our summer internship program (Deadline to apply is March 1st).
