TGIF! We don't know about you, but we sure are loving this Fall weather. Warm daytime temperatures help promote growth, while cooler nighttime temperatures allow us spend time in the great outdoors.
With that being said, we are still recommending to water 2 - 3 times per week, totaling 1 - 1.5" inches.
Already winterized your system? Not to worry, we recommend an Impact Sprinkler! You can find these at Lowe's or Home Depot for as little as $8. It is fairly easy to adjust and can be used in a wide variety of areas.. It can also be adjusted to any angle and the volume controlled by the amount of water allowed into the hose! How To Drain Your Sprinkler System
Happy Friday, it's a cold one! Here's a quick update in regards to the cold temperatures and winterizing your sprinkler system!
Over the next 4-5 days we are expecting below freezing temperatures. Have you drained your sprinkler systems and unhooked hoses from the house? If not, you still have time! With freezing temperatures this early in the season, we don't have to focus as much on anything below ground. Our worry is the above-ground pipes that are exposed to the freezing temperatures for long periods of time. If you shut off the water and drain your above-ground components, you will likely pass through this cold weather without any damage to the system.

Troy has a Horticulture degree from Texas A&M University. After graduation, he and his wife, Kiersten, decided to move to Colorado in 2004. Troy and Kiersten have three boys, one in high school, one in middle school, and one in elementary school. Troy and his amazing family enjoy being outside and exploring new hiking trails and seeing new sites. Troy’s favorite foods are pizza, burgers, and BBQ!

✨ New Hire Spotlight: Meet Kantessa
Kantessa is a Customer Service Representative here at Integrated Lawn Care! She recently joined our team in February of 2021, after leaving a career as a paralegal. She enjoys spending time with her wife and three children, and is always chasing a new adventure. Kantessa loves to spend her spare time in the kitchen, cooking delicious food, or cuddling her dog, Ella, while snuggled up next to a fire with a good book. If she is not at home she is either flying her small plane or on the golf course with friends. Her favorite foods are steak and any Italian dish.

Cooper is a Sales Lead, and Andy is a Lawn Healthcare Technician! Both of them are such great assets to our team! They are both hardworking, go-getters, and provide amazing service to our customers! We are so grateful for them. Cheers to Cooper and Andy, and here's to many more!

As we head into some sunny and *warm* days, it's very important to begin watering your lawn! We have not received enough snow compared to the dry and mild winter we've had, so it's time to get back into the groove of watering the lawn to kick-start those healthy root systems! As we head into March, we will be recommending to water 1 - 2 times per week, totaling 1 inch (in the absence of rain).
