I have been a bodyworker with a license to practice massage therapy in NYS since 2000. I became a massage therapist after dancing, professionally in ballet and modern dance for over 25 years. Throughout my career I worked through various injuries and learned alot about how my body works as well as how it heals and stays healthy. I became fascinated by anatomy while working with my teachers in the Alexander technique, Klein technique and yoga. Becoming a massage therapist was a way I could continue to explore the living, breathing anatomy with bodies other than my own. My studies have continued into the subtly expressive fields of Zero Balancing and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. I also co-teach dance classes for people with Parkinson's Disease.
