Happy 2 year anniversary, Haley C. Thanks for being a great SLP!
September is Child Passenger Safety Month!
Our PT, McKenzie, has recently become a Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician. CPS Technicians help parents learn how to install and use their children's car seat correctly.
Wondering if your child is safe in his or her seat? Contact McKenzie at (701) 471-5026 through the end of October for more information or to set up a FREE car seat check.
This cutie turned 3 over the weekend!! Happy Birthday Anson!
In honor of all who work...
Congratulations Holden on completing speech therapy today!!
Introducing our newest member to the team, Haley! We are excited to have you on board!
Haley has over 4 years of experience as a pediatric speech therapist working with ages ranging from birth to 23. She loves working with the pediatric population and has experience treating a variety of developmental concerns, including language and articulation disorders, social communication skills, as well as feeding and oral motor difficulties. Haley enjoys being able to collaborate with families to create a holistic therapy plan to best suit each child’s needs.
Haley received both her Bachelor of Speech-Language Hearing Sciences and Master of Speech-Language Pathology degrees at Minnesota State University Moorhead. She also holds ASHA certification and is licensed to practice in both North Dakota and Minnesota.
Haley has received training in dyslexia and literacy, ASL, feeding interventions, and is certified in Beckman Oral Motor Intervention, SOS Feeding Approach, CPI and First Aid/CPR.
This is April working hard in the therapy gym to improve core strength, postural stability, and crossing midline. All necessary skills for success with fine motor skills and coordinating activities like jumping jacks or skipping!
Happy 1 year anniversary to our OT, Bailey!
Beckett had fun outside kicking a ball during his PT session! This skill also works on one leg balance, coordination, and leg strength. Beckett has exploded with his gross motor skills lately! Way to go Beck!
Happy PT month! Throughout the month Maddi and McKenzie will be posting pictures of their patients during PT sessions to show the things that physical therapy can help with. And how fun it can be too!
Here is Haley working on her core strength, posture, and seated balance. Haley is so optimistic and is always game for trying different things!
The ladies are ready for fall! Thanks Mallory Vorwerk!

The truth comes out about what he really thinks of mom’s profession!
Physical therapy can help children reach gross motor milestones such as rolling, sitting, and crawling. Here is Zoya practicing transitions from floor to sitting up! This skill helps increase accessibility to toys and peers!
Please call Interact Therapy at 701-532-1906 if your child has gross motor concerns.
Here is Ryan working hard on stairs! Practicing switching feet when going up and down stairs also works on strength, coordination, and single leg balance!
Interact offers Physical Therapy services through Teletherapy as well as being seen in the clinic, at your home, or at daycare. Maddie and Maddi played a little hangman between sets of exercises to work on getting her core, legs, and ankles strong!

So proud of William and all that he has accomplished in speech therapy! Brittany is going to miss seeing that little ray of sunshine!

🗣 Sunday’s {S P E E C H} Facts 🗣
I really like this visual for encouraging language at home!
•Do Model (I see a horse); Don’t ask, “what’s this?”
•Add one word to each word your child says (e.g. child says “fish” you say “orange fish”)
•Try not to place a demand or pressure on your child by requesting them to “say ball, say cow, say this, say that”
•Give them an opportunity to communicate before you try to finish or “guess” what they are saying
