Dave Glass, Clearfield County Commissioner December 22, 2020 at 8:24 PM · Hello friends, We have important news regarding COVID-19 testing in our area. Beginning Sunday, December 27 and ending Thursday December 31, there will be a drive-thru testing center in Clearfield, run by AMI and provided by the PA Dept of Health. Testing hours are 9am-6pm each day. The testing is 100% FREE for all. You need to bring your photo ID, and they may ask you for an insurance card. Even if you do not have insurance, or your insurance denies payment, YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED A CENT. The testing center is located at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center, located at 1620 River Road. They can accept up to 450 people per day, first-come, first-served. NO APPOINTMENTS. You do NOT need to be displaying symptoms to get tested. Results are available within 2-4 days typically. If you or anyone you know have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, I urge you/them to take advantage of this one-time testing center next week. What is something about you (fun fact) that not many people know: I am a Certified Welder What do you like to do when you aren’t at work: I enjoy spending time with my husband and my family.
