This is how big of a CRIME problem we have in Albuquerque! Our IPS officers have 3 burglars detained right now who fought the officers upon catching them. Minor Injuries on scene to bad guys. Can’t get APD to respond as they are so backed up. Which means AFR wont respond till they do. WHAT IF IT WAS MY GUYS!! We cannot let these guys go. We have a serious mess in this community. Even when we win, we lose. Back the Blue Albuquerque! We need to take our city back!!

***Please share*** One of our IPS Units was involved in a hit & run accident which occurred on the morning of Saturday September 28th at approximately 4am at the intersection of Coors & Ellison NW. Thankfully the Officer and K-9 are both okay and not injured. Included are photos of the crashed IPS unit and surveillance video of the suspect vehicle just before and after the accident. The vehicle continued westbound on Ellison after the accident and suffered heavy front end damage and likely couldn’t have been driven very far after the accident.
