Dr. John. R. Miklos and Dr. Robert D. Moore are experts in their field of laparoscopic urogynecology and minimally invasive & reconstructive gynecologic surgery. The field of Urogynecology (a subspecialty within Obstetrics and Gynecology) is dedicated to the treatment of women with pelvic floor disorders such as urinary incontinence and prolapse (bulging) of the vagina, bladder and/or the uterus. After completing residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urogynecologists undergo fellowship training where they spend several years focusing only on these disorders. Both Dr. Miklos and Dr. Moore have completed two Fellowships each: Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (2 years) and Laparoscopic Reconstructive Surgery (2 years).
