Sabri Malek, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and specialist in interventional pain management. At his practice, Interventional Anesthesia & Pain Management Clinic in Pasadena, California, Dr. Malek takes a multidisciplinary approach, so patients benefit from various opinions and treatment options to combat pain and improve quality of life.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee, Dr. Malek completed his internship in pain medicine at The Medical Center, Inc., in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Malek relocated to New York to complete his residency transitional year at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center at Brooklyn before completing his anesthesiology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He continued his training, completing his fellowship in anesthesiology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Malek is dedicated to reducing or eliminating pain while decreasing patient drug use to very little or none at all, and without major surgery. He aims to help patients seeking alternatives to narcotics and other addictive pain drugs find relief from their chronic pain condition.
