He presented a collaborative scientific exhibit discussing meditation as a tool for chronic pain management at the annual American Society of Anesthesiologist meeting.
Dr. Rashid went on to complete an interventional pain management fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital with an emphasis on a multi-modal approach in treating acute and chronic pain. There he trained with experts at the renowned Mount Sinai Center for Headache and Facial pain, which is what Dr. Rashid currently focuses on. Dr. Rashid is a part of Greenwich Hospital – Yale New Haven Health’s center for pain management.
Dr. Rashid uses the full spectrum of pain management to create a tailored, patient-centered treatment plan for everyone, incorporating minimally invasive procedures, medications, rehabilitation, and advocating for complementary therapies such as yoga, acupuncture, and medical Marijuana.
