It was March 17, 1997 when Investors Community Bank (ICB) opened its doors. A group of banking entrepreneurs saw that the business of banking was changing, so they took a chance and started a bank built on the philosophy that people bank with people, not banks.

Today we bid farewell to two wonderful ladies who have been with us almost since the beginning. Lori Megow, Banking Services Manager and Val Kriewald, Customer Service Associate at our Manitowoc location are celebrating their retirement. They joined ICB when the Rapids Road location opened, more than 22 years ago. Yesterday they were honored with a surprise drive-thru parade at the branch. Congratulations to Bill Trochil, Facilities Specialist, who retired this week! Bill was based out of the Manitowoc headquarters, but served all of our locations with a smile on his face and a "can-do" attitude, no matter how strange or challenging the task at hand.
