Irina Abramova, DO, is a rheumatologist practicing with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. Dr. Abramova sees patients with different forms of arthritis, autoimmunes and autoinflammatory diseases that affect the joints and soft tissues. She provides outstanding care for a full spectrum of autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, dermatomyositis, gout, scleroderma, lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome, vasculitis, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.
Dr. Abramova completed her medical school training at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and served her residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, where she was named chief resident in her final year. She completed her specialty training in rheumatology at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital. During her fellowship training, her research interests included cardiomyopathy in Sjögren’s syndrome and molecular genetic analysis for periodic fever syndromes. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American Rheumatology Association, and the New York State Rheumatology Society.
