Everyone here at IVH understands the difficulty of not being able come in the clinic with your pets due to the pandemic. We appreciate your business and understanding during these times. Like you, we too have four legged kids and treat all of our patients as if we were treating our own. This is Frankie getting loved on by a staff member while he receives his acupuncture and laser treatments.

NOTICE: With the growing concern over COVID-19 (coronavirus) we thought we should take a moment to address how this impacts our patients, clients, and staff.
First, we would like to say that our hearts are with all of those who have been and will be impacted by this virus. As concerned pet parents, we understand that keeping both you and your pet healthy is of the greatest importance. We share that concern and are doing everything we can to help keep our patients and clients safe.
Our team is working hard to increase the frequency of cleaning, disinfecting, and we use cleaners that kill COVID-19. We have discussed the importance of hand washing, encouraging team members to wash their hands more often throughout the day and regularly disinfect common areas.
We have also made a hospital-wide announcement to our staff that if they are sick to please stay home.
We will continue to refer to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for how to determine the safest course of action for all who enter our practice.
We plan to stay open as staffing permits and continue to see patients. Concerns for your pets shouldn’t mean you have to expose yourself to more people/areas than necessary, increasing the risk to you and your family. So, we’re offering curbside assistance for scheduled appointments in order to still serve your furry family while keeping you in the comfort of your own car.
Just pull up at your scheduled appointment time and call or text us (425)394-9794 to let us know you are here.
If you are exhibiting any respiratory symptoms including fever, cough, or shortness of breath please call us to discuss the best course of action to take care of your pets.
To date, there is no evidence that pets can spread COVID-19 and we will do all we can to make sure our clients and staff are both safe, also.
Thank you,
Kim Rice and the Staff of Issaquah Veterinary Hospital
