Dr. Bonni is double board-certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive pelvic surgery, as well as obstetrics and gynecology. He's also fellowship trained in cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Bonni lectures across the country and internationally. He retains membership in numerous prestigious societies, including the American College of Surgeons, American Urogynecology Society, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Graduating from Ankara University in the Republic of Turkey, Dr. Bonni completed a year of residency in general surgery in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, affiliated with the University of Michigan. He went on to finish his OB/GYN residency at Cook County Hospital and Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago.
Following his residencies, Dr. Bonni completed his three-year fellowship training in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery in a joint Harbour-UCLA and UCLA Medical Center program in Los Angeles. He completed his second fellowship in cosmetic surgery at the Newport Beach Center for Surgery in Newport Beach, California. During this training, he mastered numerous state-of-the-art procedures, including microsurgery.
