Native of El Salvador in Central America, Dr. Antonio Quiros received his medical education in Costa Rica followed by training in Cleveland Ohio and Los Angeles. He has worked as a researcher at the Bloomberg John's Hopkins School of Public Health in Baltimore and was the first Advanced Fellow in Therapeutic Endoscopy at Stanford Hospital in California. , Dr. Quiros leads our Division and has proven to be prolific academic physician with editorial positions in several textbooks and journals, many peer-reviewed publications in his areas of interest, and active funded research initiatives.
