Stress Can Cause or Worsen Upper Back Pain (http://ow.ly/8kob30klYPU) If you have upper back pain, your stress levels may be to blame. Stress can cause your body to create pain signals, and many people feel that pain high in their back, between their shoulder blades. Try stress-relieving efforts like yoga, meditation, counseling, or lifestyle changes. If you still experience back pain, schedule a consultation with Dr. Bennett for a thorough diagnostic workup. #UpperBackPain #BackPainRelief #BackPainStress
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Doesn’t Only Affect Athletes (http://ow.ly/JX0F30klYPT) Many people believe that carpal tunnel syndrome is something that only affects pro athletes. In reality, anyone can develop the condition, which is caused by compression of a nerve located within the wrist. Repetitive hand motions are the primary cause, and symptoms include pain, numbness, or tingling in your hand or fingers. #CarpalTunnelSyndrome #CarpalTunnel #WristPain
What Role Does Posture Play in Back and Neck Pain? (http://ow.ly/cNUs30klYPS) If you have poor posture, the results may be noticeable in more than just photos. Over time, bad posture can lead to spinal alignment problems, as well as significant back and neck pain. It's possible to improve your posture, but it may take a concerted effort.
