J Duggan and Associates P.C. is a small, award-winning, Landscape Architecture firm located in the Northern Shenandoah Valley.
For the past 35 years, the firm has been practicing Landscape Architecture, including residential design/build along with commercial, institutional and government work throughout Loudoun, Frederick, Fauquier and Warren Counties in Virginia, and the Eastern Panhandle of Virginia. He has also designed Federal projects throughout the country.
Our Method
Underlying everything we do is a drive to be imaginative but pragmatic.
Designs that can’t be built, no matter how creative, end up being a graphic exercise–nothing more. Design is a means to an end for us–the end being a successful project which meets the goals set by the client.
Our services range from simple on-site consultations to complete design and construction management. Our approach allows us to give our clients creative solutions that are right for them.
This is why we have remained a Landscape Architecture Firm– we’re independent–not a contractor, nor part of an Engineering or Architecture firm.
Local & Experienced
Joe Duggan has practical experience as a member of the Town of Front Royal planning commission for twelve years and chairman of that body for one year. During his tenure, he participated in the development of the Town Master Plan, transportation plan, numerous subdivision layouts, commercial and residential site plans, and municipal projects, along with adoption of numerous ordinances and amendments.
Joe Duggan was also a member of Architectural Review Board for two years. This experience included the review of architectural and landscape architectural designs for conformance with code and working with applicants in helping them to meet that code.
With this experience, Joe is able to not only aid in the architectural and design aspects of your commercial project but also get it approved before the proper authoritative body.
