Yes people eating outside in December in Michigan is something “I never would have thought”. Beyond thankful for what I have learned though this pandemic 😷 tho. ❤️ stay strong. This is just a small chapter in the big book of life.

Happy anniversary to my amazing husband Jason. This last year has been a “test”as he always say business wise but we have stayed strong. Jason is my absolute best friend and he has been long before we bought the restaurant and will be long after the restaurant. We have worked side by side for the last 7 years since our purchase of J&S. We have spent countless hours this year trying to figure out our “plan” because 2020 has not been easy. He has remained positive and amazing throughout. He has believed in so many of my crazy ideas. As I have his. Today our anniversary plans look a little different than previous years. Today we are wrapping presents, help parents load them, and hand out turkeys, and pies for dinner for them. We just want to make sure these families have a great Christmas. We want to make sure the hospital has home made meals, we want to make sure kids have kids meals. is where we were always meant to be ❤️ so thankful to have Jason ❤️

Oh Ruth ❤️ she has been a LONG time customer coming in to the restaurant with her family. We have not seen Ruth in almost a year, due to her being in a nursing home and now with Pandemic. So thankful her amazing family who also have not seen her 😢but was able to drop gifts off to her. We gave her this teddy bear because we knew how much it would mean to her. We LOVE her! We miss her. Project feed the Kids... We will hit 5,000 meals tomorrow. This is something I never imagined 3 months ago. A few things go with this. 5000 kids. That’s a-lot of kids. $2 a meal. That’s over $10,000 dollars. Thank you so much to our community who have helped donate to this project. There still is a much needed need for these meals.
