The Ballingarry
AKA The Maloney Estate
Circa 1901

The Maloney Estate was built between the years of 1898 and 1901. Built by the late great architect, Horace Trumbauer, the Ballingarry was modeled after our very own White House. Once known as one of the greatest homes built on the Eastern seaboard, this home featured incredible gardens, a reflecting pool still there today, and even had keystones built with Marble that was excavated from the ruins of the Collesseum! (HOW COOL!?)
The Estate was demolished in 1953, and as we were demolishing the newer home we uncovered part of the old Maloney foundation!
While the home has since been replaced with about a dozen new ones, the original gates placed around it still remain!
