Jaime H. Nieto, MD, is the chief of neurologic surgery and spine surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and a clinical assistant professor of neurological surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine.
Dr. Nieto is a board-certified neurosurgeon and is a member of several prestigious societies, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and North American Spine Society. He specializes in spine conditions and treats patients with conditions such as degenerative spinal disorders, herniated discs, spinal tumors, and chronic back and neck pain.
Dr. Nieto graduated from Upstate Medical University, served his internship at Hartford Hospital, and completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of California Medical Center in Los Angeles. He completed his advanced fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
