Dr. Davenport graduated from The Pennsylvania State University and then attended Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After medical school, he completed his internal medicine residency at Drexel University. He was then named chief medical resident for an additional year at Lankenau Hospital, Jefferson Medical College. Next he completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease, congestive heart failure/heart translation, and electrophysiology at Drexel University. Dr. Davenport specializes in heart rhythm disorders and congestive heart failure. His expertise includes pacemaker and defibrillator insertion, and cardiac resynchronization for heart failure devices. He also performs electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures for various heart rhythm abnormalities.
