Dr. James E. Gaff has the gift of working with his hands and likes to help others, so dentistry was a natural career choice for him. After earning his D.D.S. degree from Emory University and serving two years in the U.S. Army, he opened his practice in Jacksonville in 1974.
“Dr.Gaff has incredibly good hands, and is very focused and on task,” says one longtime staff member.
Dr. Gaff attends continuing education classes and uses the latest state-of-the-art technology to best serve his patients. He is a member of the Northeast Florida Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Like many Floridians, he’s a huge Florida Gators fan.
In 1990, he founded a dental mission to Jamaica. Along with other dentists and physicians, he travels to Jamaica twice a year and provides dental services to people who may have never seen a dentist. During this semi-annual mission, he often provides people who have no teeth with their first set of dentures.
Dr. Gaff has been married since 1968 and has two grown children.
