I’m proud to operate my agency here in Norwood, a fantastic community located near the Hudson River. I purchased the agency from my father, James E. Purcell, in 2000 and relocated it from Bergenfield to Norwood. My team and I have more than 100 years of combined experience and are ready to help you with your auto, home, boat, business and more.

The town of Norwood is supportive of small-business owners, and we’re lucky enough to have a great downtown area with several outstanding restaurants and shopping. The Northern Valley region is family-oriented, offers lots to do and is a great place to raise children.

I live nearby in Rivervale with my wife, Mary, son, Justin, daughter, Melissa, and our two cats, Meko and Gracie. When I’m not assisting customers, I’m involved in the local martial arts community. I teach Brazilian jiu-jitsu and judo to children and adults as a black belt instructor. I also enjoy getting outside for hiking and fishing.

I’m lucky enough to say I truly love my job. I was inspired by my father who took pride in educating people about retirement and insurance and I like to think I’m continuing his legacy. Through martial arts and the agency, I’ve been lucky enough to meet so many great people in our community.
