The Regional Foot and Ankle Medical Center is a foot and ankle surgical practice headed by James R. LaRose, D.P.M., M.S.Ed. We provide full service options in our practice, from nonsurgical to surgical treatments of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. We provide service to infants, children, adults, and geriatric-aged patients. Our practice is located in Upland, California.
Dr. LaRose is double-Boarded. He is Board certified in foot and ankle surgery and in foot and ankle orthopedics. Dr. LaRose has provided service in the Pomona Valley region for 28 years. He has extensive and specialized training in the care of congenital clubfoot deformities and flatfoot deformities, reconstructive surgery of the foot, ankle, and lower leg in an adult rheumatoid patient, and in treatment of the diabetic patient with painful diabetic neuropathy to improve sensation to the lower leg extremities, and improve balance.
Dr. LaRose has been a professional lecturer in foot and ankle surgery, Dean of the U.S.C., L.A. County Podiatric Medical Department, Clinical Professor of Surgery and Medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, Chairman/Director Foot and Ankle Department, Kaiser Hospital, Vallejo, California, Director of Residency Training at Chino Community Hospital, past president of the California Podiatric Medical Association, on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, consultant for the Podiatric Medical Board of California, and was most recently appointed to the Medical Board as one of its directors.
