Dr. Jim Rutledge earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary in 1977. In 1981 he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. After completing his General Practice Residency at Ft. Benning, he served for six years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. Dr. Rutledge has completed both Fellowship and Mastership requirements in the Academy of General Dentistry, a level reached by fewer than 1% of practicing dentists in the U.S. Jim has advanced training in many aspects of cosmetic dentistry and prosthodontic reconstruction.
