I have seen a high percentage of LED TVs with no picture that are brought in for service have bad LED back lights.This requires the LCD panel to be replaced which is expensive. This just started happening and most of the TVs are under 4 years old. In my opinion the manufacturers are pushing the LEDs beyond specifications to get a brighter picture. If you own an LED TV that is still working, go into the adjustment menu and look for the back light adjustment. If it is set to or near maximum turn it down to between 50%and 70%. Then use the brightness and contrast adjustments to get the best picture. The lower you can set the back lights the longer they will last. I hope this info is useful to my readers.
