We're having phone issues this morning and are working on getting them up & running as soon as possible! If you are having a dental emergency, please email us at: info@howarddental.com.
An update/reminder to all of our wonderful patients!
At your appointment you will notice some changes we have put in place for everyone’s safety. We would like to give you a preview on what to expect.
*We are asking patients to wear a mask or face covering to their appointments.
*We are encouraging patients to come into the office alone. However, if needed, one adult may accompany their minor child.
*Checking in: Once you arrive in our parking lot you can come into the waiting room or if you would prefer to wait in your car call us at 603-749-0636.
*Patient screening: One of our team members will greet you and a temperature check will be completed, They will ask you a few health-related questions. Please review the questions below in advance and if you have answered “yes” please call the office to reschedule.
The questions are:
1. Have you or anyone you live with tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 2 weeks?
2. In the past 14 days have you been sick with a fever, chills, cough, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, muscle pain, stomach issues, loss of breath or been around anyone with those symptoms?
*Appointment: You will see that the team is wearing extra protection and we have added HEPA filtration to each operatory.
*Checking out: Once the appointment is completed, you will either be escorted to the front desk or out the side door.
Thank you so much for your understanding as we take these extra steps to provide a safer office as we care for your beautiful smile. Please feel free to call our office with any questions.
Thank you so much Dr. Ramdev for the cute yummy cookies!! 🦷 ❤️
An Update To All of Our Wonderful Patients:
In keeping with NH guidelines, we will be relaxing our waiting room policy as of Tuesday, June 16, 2020. You will still need to call from the parking lot to check in and then we will let you know if it is okay to come into the office to sit in the waiting room to wait for your appointment. If you prefer to still wait in your vehicle, you may continue to do so and we will call you back when your provider is ready for you. We do ask that only the patient being treated, or the parent/guardian accompanying the minor, come into the office. Our playroom and daycare will remain closed until further notice.
We will also continue screening each patient prior to their appointment and will remain diligent with our sanitizing protocols. Please continue wearing a face mask or some form of face covering when inside our building.
If you would like to cancel an already booked appointment, please call in advance so that we may accommodate another patient.
If you know you have Covid-19 or think you have been exposed to Covid-19, please refrain from coming to our office and call your primary care physician.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we transition to this next phase!🦷💙🦷
Dear JD Howard Dental Families,
We hope that this letter finds you safe. We are excited to announce our plan to open our office again on May 11th. We have taken many steps to ensure that your next visit will be a safe one. We are also happy to welcome new patients again!
Infection control has always been a priority in our office. We have made a number of new enhancements as we are adjusting to life amidst this pandemic. Here are just a few of the steps that we are taking to protect our patients and team.
• Patients and the team will be screened with a brief questionnaire and temperature check. If there are any signs and symptoms of COVID-19, we will ask patients to reschedule their appointment and team members to stay home.
• The entrance has been moved to the left side of the building and the front door will only be used as an exit so the flow of traffic is one way.
• We will limit the number of patients in the office at the same time and ask you to remain in you car until ready to be seen. If the patient is a child, we will request only one family member accompany them during the visit.
• We ask that everyone entering the office wear a facial covering as recommended by the CDC. For example a homemade mask, bandana, or scarf.
• As always, we will strictly follow the current guidelines of the ADA, OSHA and the CDC in regard to PPE and infection control.
• Our team will greet you with their masks on, so unfortunately you will no longer be able to see our warm smiling faces.
• Please be patient. The team is working on feeling more comfortable with all of the new gear and precautions so we may be running behind or your appointment might take a bit longer. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
• Disinfection of all common areas will be completed on an hourly basis
• We have installed plexiglass at the front desk for checkout.
We pledge to you, our continued commitment to safety during this time to help you feel safe when you or your family are under our care. We look forward to seeing you all again - we missed you!
Please call (603) 749-0636 if you have any questions or concerns.
Best regards,
The Team of JD Howard Dental
An update for our valued JD Howard Dental patients: The COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose challenges for every aspect of medical care. We wanted to let everyone know how hard we are working to keep everyone safe as we look to resume normal operations in the future.
While we continue to be open for emergencies and urgent dental care, we are currently anticipating a slow transition toward more comprehensive treatment for our patients beginning on Monday, May 4th.
We continue to follow CDC and ADA guidance on when and how to open as well as best practices to keep our patients and team safe.
We will be initially operating at a reduced schedule to help maintain social distancing and our reception room will continue to be closed. Upon arrival to the office, please wait in your car and call the front desk. We will then have your hygienist or assistant greet you at the door and escort you to your room.
To reduce spread of the virus, we are continuing to take temperatures on every patient, and the team will be wearing full protective gear that is changed out for every patient. All surfaces that are involved in patient contact are thoroughly disinfected both before and after every visit.
For our patients coming in for their dental hygiene appointment: Due to the challenges with wearing more protective gear, we may not be able to get to a doctor exam at that visit, although we will certainly do our best. As always, if you have a concern that requires an examination we will find a spot in a doctor's schedule to address those concerns.
Keep in mind, this situation is still rapidly changing and we will be keeping a close eye on our leadership for guidance.
Please call (603) 749-0636 if you have any questions or concerns.
Best regards,
The Team of JD Howard Dental
