"I nicked a brake line on my 05 suburban 4x4 several months ago. I took it to my trusted mechanic here in Madisonville, La. and found that the brake line had been previously repaired, but not correctly. My mechanic, being a smaller shop was too overwhelmed and didn't have the resources to take on a job of replacing the brake line which runs from the front of the truck all the way to the rear, and told me I might be looking at quite an expensive repair.
