Board Certified Health Lawyer 1995-2015 is the website for Attorney Jeffrey L. Myers. Mr. Myers has been in practice for over 40 years and combines extensive experience as an advocate and litigator with broad and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry as a result of representing hospitals, HMO's, physicians, physician groups, surgery centers and home health providers for several decades. In addition, Mr. Myers has served as Director of an HMO CEO of an accute care hospital In-house counsel and outside counsel to hospitals and Chair of a law firm Health Law and Regulatory Compliance Practice Group. From 1998 through 2004, Mr. Myers served on the Florida Bar Health Law Certification Committee, which writes, administers and grades the certification examination for all Board Certified health lawyers in Florida. He chaired the Committee from 2003 to 2004. As trial lawyer with more than 100 jury trials in state and federal court, Mr. Myers has had the opportunity to learn how to how to handle the most serious legal disputes. His background allows him to deal effectively and professionally with government and commercial regulators on behalf of his clients. As arbitration and mediation have gained prominance in dispute resolution, Mr. Myers has become Certified as both a Mediator and an Arbitrator by the American Health Lawyers Association ("AHLA"). He now serves as an Arbitrator for the ALHA Alternative Dispute Resolution Service located in Washington, D.C
