Jeffrey R. Jaglowski, MD, MsC, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn, specializing in disorders of the knee, shoulder, and hip, in addition to all orthopedic-related injuries. Dr. Jaglowski performs arthroscopic and open procedures, as well as joint replacement and fracture repair.
Dr. Jaglowski currently serves as a team physician and consultant for the United States Olympic Ski and Snowboard Teams. He started his graduate and medical studies at Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. He served his residency training at the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program in Boston and was named chief resident at the Massachusetts General Hospital. During his time in Boston, Dr. Jaglowski worked with several professional sports teams and treated several victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.
For his fellowship, Dr. Jaglowski focused on sports medicine and advanced arthroscopy at Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. During his time in Vail, he travelled with the U.S. Ski Team and worked with professional athletes. Following fellowship, he ran a busy clinical practice in Texas and served as a NASA consultant before relocating to New York.
