"Looking" Forward to a Brighter Future
One of Oahu's own middle school teachers, Miki Cacace, was recently awarded the prestigious Milken Educator award. This award is given to those who evoke genuine altruism and are deemed to be the epitome of patience, caring and a devotion to helping others. Every year only forty of these awards are issued to unsuspecting teachers who are truly deserving. Upon learning of her accomplishment, Cacace expressed a desire for LASIK surgery to improve her vision. Dr. Jenkins knew instantly that we were going to make that happen for her. Before we could reach out to Cacace with the good news, a former Jenkins' Lasik patient contacted us with another act of philanthropy making an anonymous donation towards Cacace's procedure.
We could not be happier for Miki with her newly enhanced vision. Following successful LASIK surgery, Miki expressed her deep gratitude to Jenkins Eye Care as well as the unnamed benefactor. She is now looking forward to seeing things in a whole new light!
