February is Black History Month and we wanted to share a bit of our own history with you all. Melton Jenkins, Jr. and his wife, Willie Mae, opened their first Jenkins Quality Barbecue in 1957 with only $125, a secret sauce recipe that had been handed down, and a dream. Now the second and third generations of the Jenkins family are still proudly serving up old-fashioned, down home goodness with a smile.
