Effective today, all SMA clinics are allowing one well visitor, 18 years of age or older, per patient per clinic visit. Patients and their well visitor will be screened and required to wear a mask. If a well visitor is unable to pass the screening, they will be asked to remain in their car.
The office of Dr. Maristela Cibes-Silva & Natalie Hamblin, APRN is moving to the campus of Southwestern Medical Center, effective June 12, 2020. Their new location will be at 5606 SW Lee Blvd., Suite 204, inside Medical Office 2.
WE'VE MOVED!
Southwestern Primary Care, office of Dr. Linda Baby and Dr. Anson Lukose, is now located on the campus of Southwestern Medical Center at 5606 SW Lee Blvd., Suite 304, inside Medical Office 2. This new location will better serve our patients and accommodate the needs of our growing practice.
At this time, all of our clinics, including those located on the Southwestern Medical Center campus, are continuing zero-visitor/advocate protocol. We believe this is the best way to protect the safety and well-being of our patients and clinic teams. If you have an upcoming appointment and have questions about our visitor or other COVID-19 safety protocols, please call your physician's clinic. Their team will be happy to help.
SMA is taking steps to safely resume in-person visits in our physician offices. Last month, out of an abundance of caution, and in accordance with federal and state guidance, non-urgent outpatient visits were rescheduled, as clinically appropriate, to help minimize the spread of illness during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, current projections indicate a lower than expected volume of COVID-19 in the region, which means less strain on healthcare resources and the opportunity to safely resume in-person appointments. Our practices will initially focus on scheduling patients in the short-term who have time-sensitive needs or chronic health conditions. We will continue to screen everyone who enters the facility and ask them to bring a cloth mask or bandana to wear during their visit. Visitors will be restricted to essential caregivers, until further notice. southwesternproviders.com/SMA-resumes-in-person-appointments

Effective Thursday, November 5, we are reimplementing ZERO-VISITOR protocol in all of our clinics. This is in response to the continued increase in COVID-19 cases in our region. Only patients receiving medical care will be permitted at this time. For more information, visit www.southwesternproviders.com/coronavirus-preparedness-information.
