Happy 4th anniversary to US ♥️ We’ve been so abundantly blessed over the past 4 years. We are so grateful to each of our customers that have trusted us and we promise to always be here for you. These amazing women mean the WORLD to me. Here’s to many more years of being “happy together”. #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou #MyPeople #HometownAgent **I do not own the rights to this music**
Your insurance agent should be your ADVOCATE! Not just during a weather catastrophe, but all the time! --If you have concerns about your adjuster....call your agent! --If you need advice on what your next steps should be...call your agent! --If you aren't sure what was covered on your estimate...call your agent! --If your estimate doesn't match your contractor bids...call your agent! Please speak to your insurance agent to get clarity and direction. Social media is NOT the place to get your information. We are here for our customers and we are available via telephone, email, and text to answer your questions or address your concerns. #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou #IWorkForMyCustomers
2020: January, February, Quarantine, Laura, December 🥴 Here’s to better days ahead for all of us. ♥️ #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou
“Love amidst suffering” (Thank you Father Caraway...I took this from his beautiful homily this evening) It seems we’re all suffering at different levels right now. Suffering through devastation to our homes, financial worries, separation from our families, and just overall stress. How can we show LOVE through our suffering? Perhaps it’s by providing shelter to a displaced family. Maybe it’s cooking hot meals for those in need. It could be showing mercy and grace to another person when our patience has worn thin. There are so many ways we can be ambassadors for Christ at a time when it feels like everything around us is falling apart. We are called to love. Here’s to another week of rebuilding our community and our lives. We are all in this together. We are SWLA strong!! My prayers are with all of you. 🙏🏼 #maboustatefarm
Emily is 40!! (Well, tomorrow to be exact, but we don’t let people work on their birthdays around here, so she’s off tomorrow) Happy birthday to the sweetest, kindest, most amazing lady! We love you so much! You are absolutely 40 and FABULOUS! ♥️ #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou #OurEmily
These types of posts are so frustrating. This is why I constantly say “CALL YOUR AGENT”. What she fails to mention is that if a State Farm customer has a Hurricane Laura Claim AND a Hurricane Delta claim, we are investigating the Hurricane Delta claim to see if it actually applies to Hurricane Laura. And guess what...most do!!! That is actually helping our customers. These types of posts are irresponsible and cause unnecessary anxiety. Call us if you have questions. #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou
Update: phones are working!! 🙌🏼 Our phone lines at the office are currently down. I have transferred our phones to our 24 hr Customer Care team. If you need immediate assistance from my office, please text us at (337)527-0027 and request a call back. Thanks for your patience. #maboustatefarm
Post Hurricane Laura Day 71, Post Hurricane Delta Day 28: Now is a great time to: ▪️Sit down with your insurance agent to review your coverages ▪️Notify your insurance agent of recent home improvements and/or upgrades ▪️Make changes to your hurricane deductible at the time of your renewal (2% is still available!) Call our office to schedule a sit down appointment to review your policies! We’re here to help! ♥️ #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou
Friends... ➡️ Claims (especially after a major catastrophic event) are a process. Nothing happens overnight. ⬅️ ▪️It is part of the process to get contractor bids ▪️It is part of the process for your adjuster to call your contractor to compare estimates ▪️It is part of the process to document damaged contents ▪️It is part of the process for your adjuster to call you and ask questions ▪️It is part of the process to list your mortgage company on your claim check There has never been a catastrophe of this magnitude impact so many in Louisiana. If you’re frustrated, that’s ok, call us and ask for help. That’s what we do! #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou #ProcessesareNotAlwaysFun #ButTheyAreNecessary
We love our customers and treat them like family ♥️ #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou Tony McCardle is with Julie McCardle. November 1 at 7:29 PM · Shout out to our insurance agent, Jennifer Field Mabou. We had some hurricane damage to two of our vehicles and I told her after the storm I would wait to let the most pressing issues get delt with first. She called me the other day and had the vehicles adjusted the very next day and money in the bank pronto! Figured it was time for some positive news about insurance agents and companies. Thank you Jennifer Mabou-State Farm Agent and team! A good agent makes all the difference!
Happy Halloween from the cutest “Jake” (AKA Jen from State Farm) ♥️ [Dixie S.] #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou

Hurricane Laura Day 63 and Hurricane Delta Day 20: Resilient, but tired. 😔 I think that accurately describes many of us right now. We’re physically exhausted, mentally drained, and our patience has worn thin. We are mad about insurance estimates, tired of seeing piles of debris in our yards, upset that contractors won’t call us back, frustrated with the traffic, etc. You name it, we’re mad at it. 😤 I get it. Think about this 🤔 ... “Patience is when you’re supposed to be mad, but you CHOOSE to understand.” We’re all in this together. We are having to learn so many lessons in patience and fortitude. I am here to help. It’s what we do. Please call us or email us if we can help you or your family in any way. God bless SWLA 🙏🏼♥️ #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou #SWLAStrong
I sure do love these sweet Taylor children! Today I was happy to give back to our community by donating $550 to the Our Lady’s Catholic School fundraiser to help repair the school from Hurricane Laura damage. #maboustatefarm #giveback #HometownAgent ♥️

**No negativity allowed here...we're better than that 🙂 ** FIVE MONTHS. It’s been 5 months since Hurricane Laura hit Southwest Louisiana. It’s been a physically and emotionally draining journey to say the least. Between hurricanes Laura and Delta, there were over 50,000 claims filed with State Farm alone. That doesn’t account for all the other insurance carriers. That number is hard to wrap your head around. At this time, Hurricane Laura/Delta is on pace to be the highest catastrophe on record in State Farm’s 98 year history. I share this information because I want everyone to understand the magnitude of devastation. It’s not just overwhelming for insurance companies. Think about contractors, laborers, material suppliers. We are all involved in the “waiting game” because there just isn’t enough man power or materials to go around. Material prices change almost daily, therefore, insurance estimates change almost daily. Insurance adjusters are being moved around to accommodate changes in claim volume. Everything is constantly in motion, yet it feels like we’re standing still. I get it. Our patience has been tested because this catastrophe made us have to wait. We had to wait for adjusters, we had to wait on estimates, we had to wait on mortgage companies, we had to wait on contractors, we had to wait on materials, we had to wait on more adjusters, we had to wait on EVERYTHING! Nothing happened instantaneously. How could it? The scope of damage was so large. I say all this because we’re all in this together. Truly. I am living this nightmare alongside you. I have no doubt that our community will come back stronger, but man, it feels like it’s taking forever. One thing I do know…State Farm is here and we aren’t going anywhere. I’m already being contacted by people getting cancellation letters from other companies that have made the decision to leave Louisiana. State Farm remains. My team and I remain. I am here if any of you need help. My team and I have been very involved with our customers and their claims since the afternoon of August 27th and we are STILL here to help. If you’re feeling stuck, reach out! Let us help. We are SWLA STRONG! We’ve got a long way to go, but we will come back stronger. #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou #HometownAgent
Life insurance. Y’all, it’s so affordable. Please don’t go without it. #roughweek 😔
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Mika ♥️ She has shown so much strength and courage this past year. She’s been readily available to all our customers while dealing with her own devastation and loss. She is such a blessing to us and we are so grateful for all she does. We love you Mika Michelle! Have an awesome day off! #maboustatefarm #TeamMabou #NoOneWorksOnTheirBirthday
