Been catching and releasing sharks and things in the intercostal waterway with Captain Rob since I was a kid. I learned to cast for shrimp, catch crabs with a string and a raw chicken leg , dig for oysters and more. I wanted to give my kids the same experience and now they’re grown up and still enjoying which makes me smile . This is how we used to have fun before cell phones and social media . Moving from Manhattan to rural southeast GA was a huge culture shock but now the hurricanes , tides, moon, marsh , and ocean of this little island are embedded in my soul.
