Starting Oct. 1st, CrossCountry Mortgage will be implementing a refinance fee increase that must be executed by Dec. 1st according to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (federally-backed home mortgage companies created by US Congress). A 0.50% fee will be imposed on most refinances which can make it more expensive to refi. For example, a $400,000 loan would cost an additional $2,000 and a $500,000 loan an additional $2,500.

‼️Loan limits for conventional loans are set to increase for 2021! This is big news as you can now qualify for more house without needing a jumbo loan! While jumbo loans have many perks, being able to qualify with a conventional loan allows for a lower down payment and lower debt ratio.‼️
Current loan limits are at $510,400 and will increase in 2021 to $548,250. 🙌🏼
