With everything going on in the world, I just decided to offer a 2 hour livestream healing session (Restorative poses, breathing technique, guided « tree » meditation for deep sleep) this coming weekend.
Date: Sunday, October, 11, 7:00-9:00pm EST
Theme: Peeling Away the Layers: Root to Rise (like trees)

Join me to restore, renew, rejuvenate and strengthen your immunity. Relaxing your nervous system during times of stress is helping you create strong roots to then rise up. We all get to choose how to « respond » in every given moment. Choose LOVE and KINDNESS for yourself and others, over and over again. 🙏
Send me a text at 215-595-5503 to register. Looking forward to connecting in our virtual community. 💚

Helpful article about the new covid strain by my nephew who is an orthopedic surgeon.
“A new mutation? Oh, no! What’s going on in the UK? What are we going to do? I told you strains matter and the vaccine wouldn’t work” Slow down. I hear it all, but let me explain scientifically. Remember, an antigen is a molecule that initiates the production of an antibody and causes an immune response. Once antigens are engulfed by our cells they are broken down. Different pieces are presented to our cells. That is, antigens have several structural components of interaction that may be bound by different classes of antibodies. Each of these distinct structural components is considered to be an epitope. Therefore, most antigens have the potential to be bound or recognized by several distinct antibodies and white blood cells, each of which is specific to a particular piece of antigen or epitope. In other words if the virus mutates, that is, a particular protein changes a few amino acids, our body is prepared because antibodies, B Cells and T Cells, will recognize different pieces or epitopes. Our bodies can recognize different pieces of the protein or the antigen that is broken down. It’s like scouting the Lakers. You break them down and understand what AD and Lebron are going to do. Just because they’ve added different pieces (free agent signings of Montrezl & Gasol) and look different, it doesn’t mean AD and Lebron are playing any different. You recognize them and know what they will do. Just because the Spike Protein changed a few amino acids, doesn’t mean the vaccine won’t work. We still recognize the main pieces (epitopes) and can still be successful. Immunology can be complicated, but let’s remember our immune system has evolved WITH PATHOGENS IN MIND for a great number of years. It may need some help every once in a while, but for the most part it knows what needs to be done. The vaccine will still do what it’s supposed to do! 💪
