As a member of the Neurology and Cerebrovascular teams, my focus is on providing the highest level of neurologic and stroke care possible to my patients. This means carefully listening, providing holistic evidenced-based care, as well as educating and counseling patients and caregivers to help empower them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. I love to engage my patients' family and caregivers whenever possible in conversations for shared decision making.
My goals are to help my patients recover from stroke and post-stroke complications, prevent future stroke, and to improve their knowledge about stroke care and stroke recovery. Part of this includes providing the best medical care I can, but it also means that I take the time to really listen to my patients and to find out what’s important to them. I’m inspired by my patients’ stories and by their recovery.
