Dogs everywhere have an extra reason to smile this month, and it has nothing to do with cozy sweaters or pumpkin spice lattes. October is Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month; reminding humans that when it comes to adding a four-legged friend to the family the motto should always be #AdoptDontShop!
