Local friends ... One of our favorite LQS shop owners very recently lost her husband. Rena is an instrumental member of our local quilting community and her shop (Stitch n Snip) is a great destination! Our thoughts are with Rena and her children during this difficult time. I love tiny piecing, but it can get tedious so I used these as leaders and enders for the last couple weeks to get them done without thinking about it too much. What are you working on???

I am trying my best this week to focus on gratitude ... and instead of just thinking of things I am grateful for I am trying to express them. I am super grateful for all of you and how you have been a part of allowing me to do something that I totally love as a real job! Leaving the workforce when I had my first child was a hard transition for me (an opportunity that I am so grateful to have had) so finding a way to re enter the workforce in a way that would bring me real joy has been such a huge blessing! I get to quilt, spend time with my sisters, interact with amazing people daily whether in the shop or on social media and still be primarily a stay at home mom! I am so blessed!
