Her involvement in these domains of research has provided her with an important clinical perspective to the evaluation of medical screening and diagnostic accuracy as it relates to her patients with the focus on ensuring high-quality care.Dr. Elmore's pivotal research, with notable publications in BMJ, NEJM, and JAMA, has impacted how both clinicians and researchers approach cancer screening and the diagnostic process. Her continuous NIH funding for over 25 years underscores Dr. Elmore's long tradition of research success. She is currently Principal Investigator for three multi-center R01s, and she also has a long history of gaining support from major foundations.
