When I first went out on my own I was afraid to say no to any case. I took a few cases no one else wanted. One of those cases was an appeal of a denial of a FERS annuity to an adult disabled son of a deceased federal employee. Today, OPM backed down an hour before the hearing in front of an MSPB judge.
If you have no idea what any of that meant, neither did I a year ago. I probably won't make much money on the case, but sometimes it's fun to learn a random new area of law.

Flo seems nice, but she's ruthless at mediation.
Looking forward to heading to the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association Autotorts seminar this weekend. I have a new tie picked out for the occasion that I designed myself.
