Joining the staff of Hughston Trauma in Terre Haute, IN, Dr. Mansour is a board eligible orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic traumatology and fracture care.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences, graduating summa cum laude, from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. He went on to earn his medical degree in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. After participating in an orthopaedic surgery internship at the Peninsula/NS-LIJ Hospital Consortium in Long Island, NY, he completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He continued his training through an orthopaedic traumatology fellowship at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH, under the direction of Ben Taylor, MD. Prior to coming to the Hughston Clinic, Dr. Mansour served as director of orthopaedic trauma for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.
A candidate member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, Dr. Mansour is associated with various medical organizations and holds memberships in national and international speciality societies. He has published in major orthopaedic and trauma medical journals and he helped develop the orthopaedic surgery resident manual for Cooper University Hospital. He has presented trauma-related scientific research and fracture care at national meetings and symposiums. He plans to continue his research interests through the Hughston Foundation, Inc.
