Derek came to Weierbach Prosthodontics with a failing lateral incisor. First, we extracted the tooth and then placed a Straumann implant. After healing, a permanent implant crown was placed and Zoom bleaching was performed. The lateral on the other side was undersized, so we restored it with a porcelain veneer. A big thank you to Lemke Dental Laboratory in Minnesota and the beautiful ceramics characterization that blend in with the rest of the teeth for a natural look. Derek recently came in for a 7 year check up. Derek is meticulous with his home care so the tooth looks like the day we delivered it to him!
During the process of reconstructing a patient’s smile, it’s important to plan from the outside in. Working with Dr. Heise, at Conestoga Oral Surgery, we approached Wendy’s case with this method in mind. Along with extractions, bone reduction was performed on the upper, allowing us to move her smile back. Implants were placed on both the upper and lower arches. Implant prosthesis were also placed. Her teeth were compromised, being a patient with scleroderma. Wendy’s final smile is not only radiant, but truly reflects her outgoing and bright personality.

Kayla’s gummy smile was the ideal case for using Steven Chu’s proportion gauges. Chu's Crown Lengthening Gauge helps achieve the proper mid-facial clinical crown and biologic crown length during crown lengthening procedure. It also helps establish the correct aesthetic position of the interdental papilla from the incisal edge before the flap is closed and sutured.
Kayla had surgery to raise the gums and take away bone to put the gums higher up. We placed 10 porcelain veneers with ideal golden proportion, We built out the premolars toward the cheek to give her a broader, wider and more dynamic smile.

We love it when minimally invasive dentistry can make such a difference. Becky had crowded lower front teeth and her two upper front teeth were chipped. We performed esthetic reshaping of her lower front teeth which make them appear to be much straighter and less crowded. We also smoothed her upper two front teeth. Total treatment time was about 30 minutes. Becky teared up when she saw the results. Making a difference in our patient’s lives is what makes our day!

Alyssa came to us with bonding which was causing gum inflammation. Alyssa wanted a brighter, prettier smile and for her gums to be healthy. Our team was able to achieve this through a combination of all ceramic crowns on the central incisors and veneers on the lateral incisors. This involved intricate color science due to the fact that veneers and all ceramic crowns have different thicknesses, therefore different refraction of light and the challenge of having them appear the same shade. This involves good communication between our team at Weierbach Prosthodontics in Lancaster and Lemke Dental Laboratory in Minneapolis whose porcelain artists create magic.
Alyssa, as you can see, now has a healthier, brighter and natural looking smile which she will enjoy for years to come!
Luis came to us looking for options to improve his smile. He was looking for a solution where treatment time was efficient, in order to fit his busy business schedule. We used phi matrix software to achieve maximum golden proportion in designing his smile. All ceramic lithium disilicate restorations are fantastic with their life-like translucency, luster and stain resistant properties.
