John Paciuc, MD, located in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood of New York City, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in “The Biological Basis of Behavior”, an interdisciplinary study of human brain and behavior. He then attended Cornell University Medical College where he earned his Medical Degree in 1983. He received his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mount Sinai Hospital from 1983-1987.
Upon completing his residency training, Dr Paciuc began private practice in Manhattan’s Upper East Side where he has provided gynecologic and obstetrical care to women of all ages for 30 years. He has consistently achieved the highest rankings in patient satisfaction surveys and is described to have a warm bedside manner, attentive listening skills, and a compassionate, calm, and kind demeanor.
Dr. Paciuc is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. He is an active member of The North American Menopause Society as well as an active member of the International Menopause Society. He is also a Fellow of the prestigious New York Gynecological Society where he serves on its Executive Council.
Dr Paciuc regularly attends and participates in local as well as global medical conferences: American Congress of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG), Controversies in Obstetrics & Gynecology International (COGI), North American Menopause Society (NAMS), and The International Menopause Society (IMS). He is always excited to cull cutting-edge women’s health and wellness knowledge to bring home and share with his clients.
Having lived in many countries as well as having travelled extensively, Dr Paciuc in fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Romanian and is conversant in Italian. They serve him well in his passion for caring for his international clientele and making them feel quite at home in his office.
Dr Paciuc has been named a Top Ob/Gyn in New York as well as a Leading Physician of the World. He has spoken on Fox News and has had multiple appearances on the Baby Channel.
He is an avid photographer and art collector, loves reading fiction and nonfiction, jazz, sea kayaking, hiking, and yoga.
