The Leather Process
Well today is another milestone – 61 years ago today, my Grandfather, Grandmother and Dad took a
chance and opened a furniture store @ 106 East Main Street in Downtown Nacogdoches, Texas. I
remember him telling me as I got older, that his landlord told him he would never make it in the
furniture business in Nacogdoches. My grandfather told him, “I may not, but if you will come by on the
first of every month, you can pick up your $35.00 for rent.”
By the Grace of God, we are still here serving the people of Nacogdoches, Lufkin and the surrounding
areas. I would like to thank all the customers that have supported us for so many years. Thank you!
Also, we have been blessed to have such dedicated employees that have worked so hard to make this
company what it is today. Thank you!
Lastly, with this being a family owed business that has been in four generations, I would like to thank our
spouses that have had to sacrifice over the years, not only being married to us, but being married to this
business as well. Thank you!
Even though we are going through an unprecedented time with Covid and economic hardships, we look
forward to serving this community and surrounding areas for many more years to come!
