Our 2020 historical preservation project has resulted in a new facade being completed at our office building in downtown Bloomington. Many thanks for the guidance and assistance from the Bloomington Historical Preservation Commission and our Architects and Engineers. The facade of our easterly building has been returned to how it looked in 1870 through the early 1900's. It is of great importance to be a part of preserving historic downtown buildings. Please pardon our mess. Our historical restoration is nearing completion, and we're all excited to see our building be returned to what it was near the end of the 19th century. JLG is happy to play its part in history with our building having the distinction of being the oldest known commercial building in Illinois that was designed by a professional architect.
Today marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed women the right to vote. The movement for women's suffrage began in the mid-19th century, and the amendment was first introduced in 1878, 42 years before it would be ratified in 1920.

Words like "stellar" and "essential" cannot begin to describe who Kelly is or do justice to how important she is.
