This week has been a very hard for our family. However tonight warmed our hearts more than we could ever imagine. I-40 would like to thank everybody who participated in showing their support for Austin tonight.
One of Austin's greatest qualities is that he has always been there for anyone who needed him. To see the tow trucking family come together and show their support for him is very humbling.
We ask that you continue to keep Austin in your prayers for he is still in critical condition.

Huge thank you to all who came out on such short notice to participate in our Light Up For Austin Gayne. We had received notice sometime around 6pm that the family would like us to try to put something together for around 8pm. So for everyone we could notify in that short time, to drop everything in a moments notice and come straight out really shows you the strength of our industry as a whole. This is just one of the reasons we love our job, because of the incredible people including our police agencies, fire departments, road rangers! Huge thank you to News 6 WKMG / ClickOrlando for helping us spread the word on the importance of taking time to slow down and move over for anyone working on our roadways, emergency vehicles, tow trucks, construction, road rangers, for people broke down on the side of the road!
Those few seconds are what can make a difference in whether or not those people make it home safely to their families or not. Please start paying attention to the roads and your surroundings and just move over!
Attention!!! So this was amazing news!!! As of today Austin’s blood prescription the doctor gave for him has met it’s maximum donation amount!!
They are not currently accepting anymore direct donations to Austin, but this could change in the future depending on surgeries, ECT...
So please just keep checking in maybe in about a week you can contact the blood bank and see if they have started accepted more.
If we get any updated information or hear anything different we will share that information immediately.
We can’t thank you all enough for everything from the calls, support, prayers, messages, videos from all around the world showing your support with light up tributes, donations, giving your own blood to help Austin Gayne!

This weekend, THREE JSO officers were transported to local hospitals with injuries sustained from traffic crashes. All three incidents could have been prevented had drivers paid attention to their surroundings.
The MOVE OVER law means just that – MOVE OVER for stopped law enforcement, emergency, sanitation, utility service vehicles, and tow trucks/wreckers. If you cannot safely MOVE OVER, slow to 20mph below the posted speed limit.
Q: "What the heck is going on here??"
A: The officer was blocking the interstate to prevent drivers from hitting the deer. A driver failed to MOVE OVER and struck the officer's vehicle.
Wanted to share this one with everyone this was posted out of North Carolina.

We were shocked to realize the amount of people that had no knowledge of the Move over law or that tow trucks are considered an emergency vehicle. In 2020 (now the numbers are even higher) every 6 days a tow truck operator loses their life, because people do not take caution, slow down and move over!! The CDC has stated that being a tow truck driver is now one of the most deadly jobs in the country, because people just do not pay attention, follow the law, put away the phones, slow down and move over. Our industry is there to help you and your family get home safely from that busy roadway you're broke down on so please we beg you to help and do the same by just taking that few seconds to slow down and move over so our families make it home safely to us! Please share and help us spread the word on this matter.

It’s interesting how the universe works....last night after leaving the hospital, we decided to stop and take a moment to be together. This stranger, now known as Rodric King, approached us and asked why we were there. After telling him, he asked if he could sing a song for Austin. He chose to sing End of the Road by Boyz II Men. All I can say is WOW! 💫 He has an amazing voice and an awesome personality! Keep singing Rodric! You’re incredible! 💗
