We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our friend, Jenn Luykx. Jenn is a nurse at Bronson Hospital. She has been working tirelessly on the front lines as a medical professional. Jenn is also our angel...she took it upon herself to sew dozens of masks for the staff at Joldersma and Klein. We are blessed to have folks as kind as Jenn reach out to help us. She was even thoughtful enough to use fabric that matches our suits! In times of crisis we ALL should come together!

November 11 is Veteran's Day. Take the time to thank a vet for their service to our nation.
157 years ago today, President Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address, in Gettysburg, PA.
Congratulations to our neighbors at First United Baptist Church on their beautification project on the Burdick Street side of their facility. We appreciate our neighbors!
We wish everyone a blessed and happy Thanksgiving. Even though it has been a difficult year for many of us, we still have much to be grateful for. May gratitude fill your heart and home this Thanksgiving.

The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on December 7, 1941 marked a crucial moment in American history. The day is still remembered as one of the largest tragedies in the United States' history. Monday commemorates 79 years since the attack.
The Management and Staff of Joldersma & Klein wishes all of you a Blessed and Merry Christmas.
December 21 marks the Winter Solstice. This year, Jupiter and Saturn will reunite after 800 years on the longest night of 2020 to form a rare 'Christmas star'. For many this longest night of the year is a sad time, a time in which those who we have lost are most missed. Many churches host “longest night” or “Blue Christmas” services on this night. In a year in which there is so much to lament and grieve, we are especially cognizant on this night of those who have an empty chair at their table this Christmas. Perhaps God is providing the Christmas Star created by the alignment of Jupiter and Saturn, as a symbol of hope for our future as we look forward to a New Year in just a few days.
Happy New Year from your friends at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home.
Monday January 18, is Martin Luther King Day. This is a day on which we can remember and give thanks for a man who sought for justice and truth for all people.
35 years ago today. We should never forget these American heroes.
In the marriage vows of many denominations, the phrase "til death do us part" is included. The fact is that even death doesn't stop love. Love is stronger than death. Even though many of us have experienced the death of our beloved ones, their love for us and our love for them continues. With love your friends at Joldersma & Klein wish you all a Happy Valentines Day.
Presidents' Day is a federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February; Presidents' Day 2021 will occur on Monday, February 15. Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, the holiday became popularly known as Presidents' Day after it was moved as part of 1971’s Uniform Monday Holiday Act, an attempt to create more three-day weekends for the nation’s workers. While several states still have individual holidays honoring the birthdays of Washington, Abraham Lincoln and other figures, Presidents' Day is now popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents, past and present.
