RIP, Judge Johnson - fair, impartial, and uproariously funny. One of the best Judges I've ever had the pleasure of appearing before. He will be missed terribly. God speed, Your Honor.

Our hearts are broken. We didn’t think this week could get any sadder but tonight, we were notified that our beloved Chief Judge Marvin Sorrells has died. Judge Sorrells was a mentor, a friend and probably one of the most honest, faithful and loyal lovers of all things Walton County. He cared about his community and its people.
We can’t even begin to imagine the legal system and the neighborhood without him.
We love our Judge Sorrells. Our hearts are indeed heavy.

Truly disturbing, and fixable.
